ACCIONA presents Life and Work of Frida Kahlo, a multisensory exhibition about the life and artistic trajectory of one of the most celebrated Mexican artists of all time. More than a hundred paintings, literary and photographic works come to life in this audiovisual and immersive exhibition that nurtures new sensibilities to the painting and biography of Frida Kahlo.

Through paintings, letters, and writings in her diary, Frida Kahlo narrated a multitude of experiences, always incorporating humour and a high dose of fantasy to the events that marked her life. The exhibition takes as its starting point the sometimes-autobiographical nature of Frida Kahlo’s work. However, it presents the work not only as a expression of the artist’s impetuous personality but also as a reflection of an artistic and intellectual intention.

The exhibition Life and Work of Frida Kahlo sets a new benchmark in the art world, as well as in education and entertainment.

Life and Work of Frida Kahlo is a unique immersive exhibition and one of a kind. Technology and creativity are at the service of knowledge, thus narrating the fascinating and enigmatic history of the Mexican painter without forgetting the utmost academic rigor. With this exhibition project, Acciona intends to lead the technological revolution in the cultural world, thus creating a new genre that explores the boundaries between cinema, art, theatre, and spectacle, while placing the visitor at the centre of the experience.
